CATARACT GORGE
Cataract Gorge Reserve, or The Gorge as the locals call it, is a unique natural formation within a two-minute drive of central Launceston - a rare natural phenomenon in any city. In 15 minutes you can walk from the city centre along the banks of the Tamar River into The Gorge. From here you follow a pathway along the cliff face, originally built in the 1890s, looking down onto the South Esk River. The Kings Bridge over The Gorge was floated into place in 1867.

OLD SEAPORT MARINA
A world-class marina in the centre of the City. The 60 Berth Marina caters for vessels up to 20 Metres, with wide, stable walkways, cleverly rebuilt in Launceston after being originally set up at The Olympic Yachting Centre, Rushcutters Bay, Sydney. The adjoining Seaport boardwalk provides for Restaurants, Cafes, Boat and Bike hire and more.

SEAHORSE WORLD
The seahorse has long held a peculiar attraction for mankind. Overfishing and habitat destruction has led to the numbers of seahorses dwindling significantly throughout the world.

Seahorse World offers a unique tour experience through this fascinating aquarium dedicated to the preservation and conservation of the seahorse. It's unique, exciting and fun.

LAUNCESTON GOLF COURSE
The Launceston Golf Club has a proud reputation locally and interstate for the presentation of its facilities and as an excellent test of golfing ability. The 5987 metre par 72 layout provides something for all golfers whether a beginner or seasoned golfer.
